ME - thirty something obsessive compulsive perfectionist - loves all things girly - cooking, baking, crafting, decorating and pink - and a few other things including reading and photography and our critters - and of course loves the SO more than anything

SO - the significant other - thirty something extremely motivated go getter - loves all things manly - football, beer, cars, and technology - and loves me even though i am decidedly unmanly

BC - the big cheese - college freshman - definitely not your average teenager - sarcastic, slightly snarky, and hilarious

LD - the little dog - 8 years old - spoiled rotten - we call him "his royal highness" - suffers from many ailments including pancreatitis, diabetes, allergies and now cataracts that caused blindness - he's a little druggie dog

BD - the big dog - 10 years old - dumb as a box of rocks - stubborn - hater of cats and mice - protector of the LD - pretends to be deaf on a regular basis - way too fat for his own good - he looks like a potato on a sticks

MA - my mom - super woman - can do just about anything - awesome cook - insanely crafty and talented - she's from germany and actually only became a citizen a year or two ago

DD - my dad - retired army colonel - also insanely talented - an older version of the SO - he seems tough but really he's just a big teddy bear

RS - the rocket scientist - my older brother - he's odd, a certified genius, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of an inordinate amount of things - currently designing a board game

BM - the big man - 11 years old - in the sixth grade - very very very smart - very very serious - and has an unwavering dedication to the truth

LM - the little man - 7 years old - in the second grade - also very smart - has quite the temper - thinks it isn't fair that he doesn't get to do everything his brother does
